Using the tool

The current browser ledger is free to use without an account. Do not interfere with the service, evade invoice or recipe limits or submit material you do not have permission to process. The invoice reader is optional and requires your confirmation before sending an image. The recipe reader requires the same confirmation for a recipe photo or pasted text; simple measured text can be parsed locally.

Accuracy and business decisions

Check purchase units, pack sizes, yields, taxes and portion definitions before relying on a calculation. Reference prices are historical observations, not quotations. Published medians are descriptions of a sample, not guaranteed results. AI extraction can make mistakes; review each line before applying a change.

The service is provided as available, without a promise of uninterrupted availability or fitness for every business. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for losses caused by incorrect inputs, unverified reference data, unavailable service or missing backups. Nothing here excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Local data and backups

The ledger is stored in your browser. Clearing browser data, device failure or switching browser profiles may make it unavailable. Export and retain your own backups. We cannot restore a local ledger from a server copy that does not exist.

Reference material

Source datasets retain their stated terms and attribution. Original site explanations and software are separate from third-party material. Competitor names identify the products discussed and do not imply endorsement or affiliation.

Pro development and changes

The pricing page may describe planned Pro features in a clearly labeled development section. A waitlist submission is not a purchase, commitment to deliver a feature or subscription contract. Current free tools are available as described on their working pages.
